Spiel Essen 2019 – Games from Hell

One demo I certainly wanted to check on the progress, was my last year’s surprise found: Presidium. This game comes from Games of Hell and I was very happy to meet again with the founders, Richard and his beautiful wife at their booth. These two very lovely and kind people, made this absolutely brutal game with lots of blood and fearless monsters.

The progress this game went through is amazing, actually everything what needed work in my opinion, was adjusted. The gameplay was way smoother and the duration of the game was shortened into about an hour.

The table presence of Presidium also went through the roof, where last year they came to Spiel with cardboard standees. Richard brought two sets of miniatures with some of them pre-painted and you guys all know how much my camera loves painted miniatures! Also, the board and everything on it undergone a makeover and it looks, goooooooooood!

I really liked to play with them big crates and quash some blood thirsty creatures or a fellow prisoner with them. Or aggress them head on with one of the lethal items I had on hand. While running and jumping around inside the Presidium.

Still not really sure how they going to fit it all in the box, but I hope to bring you more news about this awesome and brutal looking game when it is about to go live somewhere next year. Richard and his team are still working and playtesting Presidium, to deliver a flawless gaming experience. I for certain, are really happy that they take their time for it, because it’s a hell of a game.
