Spiel.Digital – Days of Wonder

Before we round up this Spiel.Digital coverage I would like to mention two games I highly anticipated and for me an opportunity so share a few real photos from a physical game. One of these games had its release a little bit before the convention and with this particular game, we couldn't even wait until Spiel to get it.

The game I am talking about is SmallWorld of Warcraft coming from a collaboration between Days of Wonder and Blizzard. It is a new stand-alone edition of Smallworld with a very thick World of Warcraft sauce poured over it. We were actually so eager to play it, after we received it, we even reviewed it before Spiel.Digital.

Unfortunate non of Days of Wonder games were playable at Spiel.Digital. For us that wasn't a biggie, as we already acquired SmallWorld of Warcraft and their other new release I could not possibly play as a Rotterdammer (just kidding, but we already have Ticket to Ride London), but Ticket to Ride Amsterdam really looks cool with them small chariots to go around the old city.
