Spiel.Digital – Game Brewer

We started our Spiel a bit late, where we normally would have waked up and leave early towards the Messe Essen to be the first in the halls and most probable even before the doors open. This year we took it easy and finally wandering the website of Spiel.Digital we saw that Game Brewer were explaining their Essen release, so why not drop by and say hi at one of our favorites.

The Essen release I am talking about is Paris. It was like watching along over someones shoulder at a demo table, because the explanation was already started. Paris is a good old fashion Worker Placement by the designers Michael Kiesling and Wolfgang Kramer. Not really comfortable with the new environment, I couldn't find any players or demoers to try and play Paris with after the explanation. So we had to find it out for ourselves.

Game Brewer had quite some events planned around their new and older games including Belgium Beer recommendations. Other than Arkwright: The Card Game and the new expansion for Gùgōng: Pànjūn. Game Brewer had news about an upcoming Kickstarter, which will be called Rulebender. Unfortunate there isn't much information about the game yet, more info will be published on their Social Media channels in the coming weeks until the launch on the 16th of November.

New on Spiel was Game Brewer's family orientated little sister publishing company, Amuza. Bringing three brand new family games called Pizza, Circus and Bugs. All three have had a successful Kickstarter campaign and were available for preorder during Spiel.

Due to the absent of the Belgium Beer bar, like they were serving last year, there was no need for us to stay longer and we headed of to the next bar, uhm booth.
